The first Airstream Park in Italy is in the Veneto region, on the peninsula of Cavallino-Treporti, just a few kilometres from the enchanting city of Venice and the main islands in the lagoon: Murano, Burano and Torcello.
The best way to reach Venice is by boat. You can leave from Punta Sabbioni on a public boat that runs every 30 minutes (from early morning to late evening) and arrive a stone’s throw from St. Mark’s Square, where you can visit the Basilica, the Doge’s Palace or climb the bell tower!
Bicycle excursion to Lio Piccolo
Dunes, vegetable gardens, lagoons and pink flamingos
Starting from the small villages along the coast in direction of Punta Sabbioni, you will pass by the beach of Ca’Savio with its natural dunes and its coastal forests and cross the geometrical vegetable gardens of Cavallino-Treporti, where they cultivate asparagus, tomatoes and aubergines. Here the lagoon conquers definitely main land and the road winds along the edges of the valli da pesca till the ancient village of Lio Piccolo, surrounded by the water of the lagoon, immersed in the quietness which gets only interrupted by the sounds of the different types of birds. But the real attraction on place are the flamingos! The bicycle tour is very easy and all flat.
Bicycle and helmet rental are available on payment in the campsite.
Kayak through the lagoon Discover the unique environment of the Venice lagoon in a new way. Hear the sound of birds as you pass beautiful little islands and unspoiled areas. Everyone can join this excursion, even if you are less experienced. There’s even an option for a shared kayak.
Go aboard the boat with your bike. You will leave from Ca’Ballarin to Lio Piccolo, where you can continue your excursion. Pick-up: Thursday and Friday (morning), Saturday and Sunday (morning and afternoon). Check the timetables at the Customer Care Office of the campsite. The booking is compulsory. Time of excursion: 1 hour. Price (return ticket): adults 18€, children 3-10 years 11€.

Departure from Ca’Ballarin, Via Pordelio 286. Pick-up: only under reservation, departure time must be set with the captain. Time of excursion: 2 hours. Price: 25.00€ per person.
